A New Adventure! Day 1

This week we began PBL training:
Here we are on the way to Surry Power!

We had a very informative short presentation about the Plant.

Afterward we were able to go to the visitor exhibit ... below was a sample reactor and you are given little missions and able to control the rods.

Settling in my new Location!

Windsor Elementary will be my new home in the year to come!  My new colleagues have been so welcoming and have made me feel at home!

 My New Space:
I am so excited about my new location at Windsor Elementary School!  Today I just took a few things in and wanted to get a sense of my new space.  The walls are getting painted this summer and the floors will be stripped and waxed, exciting!  

Now comes the fun part, planning a space where teachers and  students can collaborate with one another.  My dream this year is to structure this space into a mini-makers area.  

So here is the space:

Lots of storage space!!
